Back into Russia today for a river cruise including the Neva River before heading to the Yusupov Palace to learn about Rasputin's demise and to tour the palace. Lunch at the Ambassador Hotel before souvenir shopping at the same place as yesterday so we went for a walk but didn't find anything very exciting except for a couple of shops in an pedestrian underpass.
Then on to The Cathedral on Spilled Blood. This cathedral was built on the site that Alexander II was assassinated. It is build in traditional Russian Orthodox style with the onion top domes - the inside is covered with mosaics - just stunning!
