After a much needed sleep in we had brunch at the Hi-Tide Coffee Shop a short walk from our accommodation. Then we drove into Boston to walk the Heritage Trail. Those pikes and tunnels are confusing enough without the GPS telling us to go left but showing a right turn on the screen.
We took in Monument Square, Bunker Hill, USS Constitution, walked over Charlestown Bridge and up to Coppa Hill Burial Ground before we decided it was just too hot and changed our plans after two hours walking. Returned to the monument to move our car and took the Super Duck Tour which drove around town pointing out many points of interest before driving into the bay for a tour on water.
Grabbed a GF pizza on the way back to Winthrop and had a quiet night.
