Up early and after a quick 15 minute walk to the train station we jumped on a train to Pisa via Florence. A 10 minute bus ride to The Leaning Tower from the station. Very hot, many people, checked out the Tower and surrounding buildings before heading back the bus stop for the 10 minute ride back to the station with just enough time to grab some lunch before jumping on the train back to Florence.
Grabbed a coffee in Florence before getting on our next train to Naples.
The guy at the ticket office in Naples handed over our tickets for Sorrento and said 'hurry' ... so we did! This train goes right past Mt Vesuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum!
Found our local bus that left Sorrento at 8:00pm and were sitting in the restaurant just after 8:30pm hot, tired and hungry - a good day!
