Picked up for our trip to Capri by a little old half size bus with plastic seats that were not designed for adults to sit on - very interesting, and beautiful ride to Marine Del Cantone, Nerano. Cruised right around the isle stopping at Marine Piccolo where we were shuttled up to Capri - the main town. A sleep in, far too much breakie, a swim, a trip to Sorrento with a picnic in the park and a mini tour on one of the 'trains'. Very rocky area with Sorrento being built on the cliffs, it was originally a walled town. Beautiful! Back for another swim before a quiet dinner and an early night - woken around 12 by smoke from cigarettes - non smoking hotel but an ashtray in our room. Smoked out until around 2pm - very disappointing for a 4 star hotel!

Up early and after a quick 15 minute walk to the train station we jumped on a train to Pisa via Florence. A 10 minute bus ride to The Leaning Tower from the station. Very hot, many people, checked out the Tower and surrounding buildings before heading back the bus stop for the 10 minute ride back to the station with just enough time to grab some lunch before jumping on the train back to Florence. We tried to make the best of the Vaporetto ticket gift that we received yesterday by walking to the water bus termini closest to our hotel arriving at San Marco to begin our exploring. We wandered around squares, had coffee, ice cream, pizza, more ice cream etc in numerous cafes.
