Started our day by visiting an underground Serbian church which was very amazing. The temperature is steady around 22-25degrees regardless of the soaring heat/cold outside.

Journeyed out to the Crocodile Hunters nest ( some crazy German guy who used to hunt crocodiles) his house was all underground and HUGE. It was littered with old paraphernalia and oozed character!

We took a drive out to the Breakaways (bunch of sandstone hills) and also saw a section of the worlds longest fence. We noticed the fields alongside the road were sparkling and stopped to find out what it was: Huge chunks of crystallized salt which glittered when the sun hit it!

We tried our hand at 'Noodling' (fossiking for opals) and found a large handful of colorful rough opals. It was quite addictive!

In the afternoon we strolled around town looking at the underground shops and opal displays.

Highlight today: underground church and 'Noodling' for opals.
