Thursday we headed from Brisbane to noosa but we took a detour and we went to Australia zoo where we stroked kangaroos and koalas then fed elephants. We watched a few shows with crocs, tigers and elephants it was really cool. Unfortunately chris had caught my cold and is ill. Our campsite was nice with a lake which we parked near to.
Friday we left to go for a drive round noosa unfortunately we missed feeding the dophins which was early in the morning. So we headed to rainbow beach. On the way there the satnav gave us some directions leading us into a Logging area and a 4x4 area. So that slowed us down but was very amusing. we got our permit to stay at the inskip campgrounds. Where we went for a walk down the beach as it was nice and sunny.
Saturday we drove into the town and walked up to the Carlo sand blows which was really cool. Then headed to the beach for a bit which was nice. Then headed back to the campground where we went for a swim and then had a beer and read our book when the sun went down.
Sunday we were up at 7 because we had a tour at fraiser island. So we met them at the shell garage and headed to the ferry then to 75 mile beach where we stopped for morning tea. After that we headed to the first hotel on the island and then onto the lake which was pretty chilly but we still went for a swim it looked amazing. An hour later rob ( the guide) had cooked up a massive lunch with steaks fresh fruit and salads. Then we headed to the loggers huts and then headed back to rainbow beach. Chris and I hopped off there and then headed back to the campground where we drank out beer while the sun set with our books like old people.
Today we have got a big drive ahead of us as we are driving all the way to the Whitsundays.
