At the farm we have got up to 370 heifer calves so we are getting through it, it is kind of slowing down now getting 10-20 new calves a day. Our days off were coming up so we decided to go to queenstown.
Sunday night after work chris and I headed to queenstown for our two days off. The drive down there took 3 hours so we arrived just before 9 to check in. Got to our rooms and put down our bags then headed straight for dinner at fergburger. Forgot how amazing they tasted. After our huge burgers we headed to buffalos for a few drinks!
Monday we got up at 9 and headed down to the docks where we booked our parasailing for the afternoon. We walked to the other part of town to the gondalor when we got to the top we went on the luge. Chris beat me on the scenic route even if I did cut him up and crash but the advanced was obviously too difficult for him so I won by far, Haha. We headed back down to the indoor golf which was pretty good fun, chris won. Then we headed out to the docks and went parasailing, I was a bit nervous to begin with. But once we were moving off from the boat it was really cool. To see queenstown and the mountains from up there. We were 600 feet in the air. For lunch we went to the chocolate shop for a chocolate board was awesome. Then spent the rest of the day shopping getting our rentals for skiing and then in the evening eating at Winnie's was very nice then drinking at buffs.
Tuesday we got up for 9 and had a Maccys breakfast and collected our skis and then headed to the remarkables (where part of lord of the rings was filmed) we got to the nursery slopes and was explaining to chris how to ski when he took off down the slope as I was gunna explain how to stop and he was getting close to the car park so threw himself to the ground. So we spent an hour on the nursery slopes and then chris wanted to go on a green so we went up the lift. Was good we went on two green slopes. Chris did really well and it was nice for me to go skiing again. In the arvo we headed back to queenstown handed in our rentals then drove back home.
