I'm sitting on my bed in the hotel, waiting on Kat to finish getting pretty and doing her hair. We're about to head out to see the Eiffel tower at night and grab some dinner and probably some drinks!

Today, like yesterday, didn't quite go as we'd planned... but just the same as yesterday, turned out to be awesome! We woke up and it was raining pretty bad and seemed really cold. But we got dressed... and headed out anyway! We took a suggestion from a guy we met at the airport for a lunch spot and planned our day around lunch at Angelina's which is right by the Louvre. We hit up Notre Dame first and saw the inside of it- indescribably beautiful!!! (side note - katie says indescribably isn't a word!). We took a billion pictures, including ones of us lighting candles!

After that we went to Angelina's which we now will recommend to anyone coming to Paris! We had the african hot chocolate which is like liquid heaven in your mouth. I had a quiche, Katie had an omelet and then we shared to amazing pastries for dessert! FULL and happy- we headed out for the Louvre where we saw the Mona Lisa and the sun came out! It turned out to be a beautiful afternoon.

We leisurely strolled the garden in front of the Louvre and saw more cafes, and ended up at the Arc de Triomphe where there was some processional ending - maybe a funeral! We climbed the 244 steps to the top and saw breathtaking views of the city (literally breathtaking - as the wind almost blew us off of there). After that we headed back here to the hotel which is where we are now....

Oh- and i'm still waiting on Katherine to finish getting ready- she says she's almost done - she's packing her purse now!
