hello angel! sounds like you are having a fantastic time - i love the pictures of you surfing - looked like a fabthing to be doing. we are in the middle of a heat wave here - we have had two days of glorious sunshine and 25 degrees. Of course, now it's saturday it is all due to finish by lunchtime when the heavens will open and that will be our summer gone probably! You are looking very brown in your photos, presumably you have worked out how to use the sunscreen now, and the burning incidents are behind you?! Steve has his friend over this weekend, and they are haing a weekend of crazy DIY, so Ben and I are escaping to Slough where we won't be expected to join in with sledgehammers etc! I am hoping that we will return to a house that is still livable in... look forward to reading your next installment. xxx

hey dude, thought I'd make the most of messaging you while you still have contact, and while I still have internet credit. I realise now that meeting in the sky would be a bit awkward but its weird to think I won't see you til the fake birthday party we're throwing you in August (hope you havnt forgotton that). Ash has emailed me so I've got her details cheers. I'm not sure if i'll take advantage of the free accommodation yet, we'll see how it goes. What you said about a room to youself is so true-I'm going to find it seriously strange going home and shutting my bedroom door with only me sleeping in there. i've become quite accustomed to dorm living, its like a giant sleepover with your mates every night. Quality. Anyway, better sign out coz some red warning is flashing. Take care, byeeeee xxx
Jenny
No offence al, but i sincerly hope we don't meet in the sky cos that is called crashing and probably death! Let me know if you need Ash's info cos i got it all. Miss you, you crazy adrenaline junkie!
Alice
hey dude, just checking out your photos which are pretty cool. I'm looking forward to Oz now, but it looks like its going to be a bit of a come down from the adrenalin packed days I've been having here-oh well, i guess i'll adapt like we did for Fiji. can't believe you fly out on Sunday too, we will probably meet in the sky somewhere-scary!! I'll have to get in touch with Aislinn soon coz it sounds like she has a pad to stay at. I'm so broke after my 5 weeks here, I've done everything and its cost me big style so I'm living on the streets when I get to cairns. I hope you love Thailand, have a fantastic time and stay in touch, miss you Bula Buddy xxx
Sally
Whatever. The words pot, kettle and black spring to mind!!! xxxx
Jenny
Hey sal. I'm wondering should i be nice and edit my messages so you spell the word definitely correctly?? Have just woken up and mel and nick's and nick has drawn me a map to the bus route, a picture of how to work the tele and has even left me my bus fare!! I love these guys!!!!
Sally
Hi lady, thanks for your lovely text!! You big meanie. I actually had a thai soup for lunch, but it was disgusting and there was no wine (frowned on in the workplace...) and no nick and mel - so you definately win!! Give them so so much love and tell them twick is def quieter without them here!!! Surf camp sounded awesome, I wish I had seen your fat hand. Have loads of fun and stay in touch. We miss you loads!! Love, Sallyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Instead of working I've spent the last ten minutes reading your recent post cards - sounds absolutely fantastic, Jenny, it's hard to believe you really are so far away and seeing and doing all these incredible things. A quieter time is being had at home; yesterday was a bank holiday (thank God!) and Dad and I met up with Sally, Kate and Piers (and later Paul) and went round the National Portrait Gallery, which was lovely, my favourite gallery. Sally made it to the reunion on Saturday - eventually - cycling from Twickenham along the Thames being not such a good idea when you lose the Thames and end up in Weybridge. Took her about four hours!! Kate did not make it for reasons too complicated to explain. There were hundreds of people there and a lovely, albeit noisy atmosphere. Back to work today - extremely difficult! Roll on Friday! Lots of love, Mum XXXX

hey jenny, just caught up on all your goings on and your postcards, sounds like you've been having lots of fun down under. I'm having to start thinking about Australia now coz I leave for Cairns on the 7th. Send me an email or something with everything thats worth doing. i wont have anywhere near as long to do Sydney as you have but hopefully you'll be able to give me some tips. Vicki has written me a day by day itinerary of what to do coz she was out there for a year but it involves moving everyday which is what we're doing here and I'm so tired of checking into hostels I think I'll need a break somewhere. When do you leave for thailand? Can't believe we've nearly been away 2 months, thats crazy stuff. I literally havnt thought about home yet, I'm just too busy- tomorrow I fall 109m freefall down a canyon on the bungy swing-crazy bloody kiwi's!!!
Jenny
Hey guys,
glad to hear ur all gravy back home. Surfing is incredibly hard and i only managed to stand up about 25 times but it was awesome, tho I'm now covered in scrapes all over my knees and elbows which is incredibly painful!! hope dad, you're not too jetlagged. well done kate, awesome news!

It's 10 thirty Friday night, Korean time. It was a Korean meal tonight. Last evening was Japanese with the live fish, twitching on the plate and a sea slug sliced by the chef just before it walked off the chopping board. We've had the karaoke. I was called upon first ("UK,UK,UK") and I gave them my only karaoke song "Are You Lonesome Tonight?". They didn't throw tomatoes or the Korean equivalent. I call that a success. I'm being woken up at 6 tomorrow morning to get to the airport at 8. I'll be landing at Heathrow at about 4.15, which will be after midnight for my body clock but I'll have to push on through until the end of UK Saturday so that I can watch (sleep through) Match of the Day. I hope that you've liked "Hanging Five" and all the other things that surfers do and that you'll enjoy the rest of your Australian leg. Hope to hear from you when my mobile is not hiding from all known mobile systems.
Lots of love.

Don't know if you got my text about Kate - great news, she has gained a promotion - starting next week! Don't ask me for any more details - I'll have to wait til I have spoken to her, she's told me her job title but of course I can't remember it ... it's only 50 yards away from where she is now so the journey will be just the same. So pleased for her. Dad due home tomorrow (Saturday) hopefully about time to open a bottle of wine which will probably send him straight to sleep. Sun is shining here though still cold - how was lifein the surf - hope you are now an expert! Lots of love, Mum XXX
