I am not continually drunk!!!! It's just that there is very little to do out here. Am off to a cave today apparently....
Mum
Very nice to receive a text from you, Jenny, but not quite so good when it arrives at 6.30am and makes a loud noise on Dad's phone, which as you may know spends night time in the pocket of his trousers on the bedroom floor and hence the noise wakes me up. Dad of course refuses to wake up enough to read the text so I lie there fretting about whether there's a problem, until falling into a coma five minutes before the alarm goes off. Am destined not to sleep - the phone rang at 4.00am the other night, which also sent me into a panic. Other than that, life is rambling on in the usual fairly tedious way so very much looking forward to the trip to Edinburgh. Maylasia is apparently beautiful so I hope you will appreciate it and not spend your time there in a drunken haze. Lots of love, Mum.

Well, I would regret breaking up with brad pitt for hairy chirs martin and stupidly named children...fortunately I have never had to face that particular dilemma! Any more news from thailand? hope you are having fun little one, miss you xxxxx
Jenny
Just to clarify, it was a real life kuala.....fact not opinion!! I did indeed sample the delights of the cookies in Nimbin, but I bought them in a shop as I thought that would be best. The result was a Jenny spouting crap about whether gwyneth paltrow regreted breaking up with brad pitt, i think i was the only one who fully understanded the conversation and then I fell asleep for six hours. its all gravy!!
Anne-Marie
Hey Miss! I can't believe all of your travels. It's so exciting. I'm glad you went to Nimbin, it's such a crazy place. Did you buy cookies from the crazy lady? I have to say Byron Bay was my favourite spot. I can't remember the club we went to there but it was carnage. Thailand sounds amazing, I can't wait to see the pictures. Looking forward to having you home so I can hear all the details. Best of luck with the rest of your trip. XXX

Hey dude, just been looking at your photo's from Austrailia, can you please clarify something for me, in the zoo were you actually stroking that Kuala, or did you in fact buy a hand puppet and pretend it was a real Kuala?
I've sent you a proper e-mail, with all the questions and well wishing so you can waste your valuable internet time reading that instead of me putting it here!! xxx
Mum
Thanks for the text and the e-mail Jenny; as ever, it's good to know you are all right though how you are surviving consuming that amount of alcohol is beyond me, and I speak as a woman who enjoys the occasional glass. Dates - we are going to Edinburgh this Friday, 19 May, returning Sunday 21 May, and then we go to New York on Saturday 27 May and return the following Friday, 2 June. It's thrown me a bit, I somehow thought the two visits were further apart. Kate will be away on a hen do the weekend you return, but other friends and relatives may well come round to no. 43 on the Sunday to say hello to you - hopeully including Ben. Everything's all right at home, although I'm writing this at 9.00am on Monday morning, which is never my favourite time of the week. Also praying for rain - and prayers being generally answered, as we have a lush new lawn which needs lots of water. Please take care of yourself, don't get eaten by iguanas, and slow down on those buckets!!! Lots and lots of love - really missing you. Mum XXXXX
Jenny

Sally
Hi lady!! I know you are going off radar for a while, so just a quick one to say have fun and be good!! You are not missing much here - I think summer has been and gone and now it is cold again. Kate and I are meeting Tim for tea tonight so we will toast absent friends and then talk about you behind your back!!! Loads of love little one - don't forget my one pound jeans! Miss youxxxxx
Kate
It would appear that I am not talking to you. I don't know what you've done to prompt that, but shame on you! Anyway, many apologies for my lameness and thanks for your text about the new job. Am sitting at my new desk, surrounded by people typing in silence. It's a bit scary. No real news apart from that... New York and Barcelona were both fab and Piers and I spent quite a large portion of Sunday following a large mechanical elephant round London. Living the dream... Any road, I hope you have a fab time and bring back a Thai husband, xx
Mel
I miss my drinking buddy!!!! Hope you are having a fabbo time in Thailand. The house is quiet without you, Nick and I absoltuely loved having you to stay (although the wines everynight have calmed down a bit!!!). Nick especially misses his fellow-geezer! I bet the flight to Singapore on Sunday morning with only 5 hours sleep over 2 nights must have killed you!!! Haa haa you are one bloody funny gal Jenny! You were a great housemate to have and you are always more than welcome to come and stay again... Lots of love and hugs Aussie Mum & Dad (mel & nick x). p.s. get those pastey white pegs out for a tan in Thailand... hee hee xxxxxxxx
