None of our projects are open today because so many roads are flooded and virtually impassabe and the conditionof them makes using our bikes dangerous. Alan and some of the Khmer staff went to Grace House and moved vunerable things to a higher level. Some of the families are very hit, so he discussed with the village elder the possibility of families using rooms at GH. With his land rover he will be able to get there tomorrow but I'm sure we won't. I don't know what we can do, but it seems so wrong to be enjoying the fun side of the floods when so much is at stake for others. It will be dreadful if those who have livestock lose it. Food is our biggest worry, it is too dangerous to go out tonight, and of course the possibility of not getting back. So we need to try and get a few stocks in tomorrow. It hasn't rained too much here today, but I'm sure it has in the hills from whence it flows.
Last night was very noisy with frogs croaking very loudly in search of a mate. The sound drowns out everything else.
Hope you've survived your hurricane, more news later. Take care, J x

Heather It turned out to be hardly a hurricane- simply a rather windy ev ening and day, with hardly any rain either. It seems to be horrendous where you are- is it worse than usual or does this sort of flooding happen yearly? Your pictures are fabulous but I am amazed that anyone continues to live there. Have asked for Antonia to become friend but have no idea who she is. luv from all.
Doreen Another fantastic entry, its had to believe the people are still smilling. I know you will do all you can to help, but remember to think about yourself as well. Tate has hopefully had his final op and is home recovering, with a full complete working circuit. Take care, stay safe xx
