Hello All,
We finally dragged ourselves away from Freo' and caught The Indian Pacific to Adelaide... if you ever have the opportunity to catch that train and have 36 hours to spare then may we suggest you give it a go!! It is an amazing way to see the outback of Oz and jump out at some of the most remotest places ever!!!!
Once we arrived in Adelaide we opted to move on to the little beach bay of Glenelg.. we are again a stones throw away from an amazing Beach. As I look out the window of the internet cafe I am greeted by awesome blue skies..and a crystal waters.
Don't worry though, it hasn't all been about lazing on the beach... we actually did something very productive yesterday and went Wine Tasting. South Australia ia famous for it's wines... namely Jacobs Creek!!! Which I know many of us girlies... remeber from years back.
Needless to say it was a very enjoyable day indeed. We visited 4 wineries in total and also had the opportunity to stop off in the little town of Tannunda for a pub lunch - Jen and I had the Sunday Roast... and it was delicious. After the last winerie it was time top get back on the bus and drive back to Adelaide.. everyone was feeling pretty sleepy from a combination of an early start and drinking copious amounts of wine..but it really was a great day - we had a fantastic guide 'JR' who kept us all alert by cranking up the tunes on the stereo and also trying to teach us some Aussie history!!
