Hi All!

I want to thank you for reading and responding so positively to my blog from these past 11 months! I also want to apologize for falling off these past few months - this has been due to the madness that is the third term of the school year, hectic school and end-of-the-year schedule, laziness, and also the fact that most occurrences here have become so common-day to me that I forget how blogworthy much of my life here is. I am looking into a new and more convenient (easier to post and access) blog site for next year and will be sure to post the link to my new site if I do indeed make one.

I am now home for the Christmas holiday and will be returning in January for a second year of teaching at my school. I am very very excited about this and will be having a fundraiser for my second year on December 10th in Kelowna - a night of dinner, dancing, a presentation, door-prizes and silent auction. It is going to be an amazing night, especially since my mom has worked so so hard to organise it- I can't thank her enough! Tickets for the event are $50 and include all of the above mentioned. I am also trying to get my hands on as many teacher supplies (think posters/classroom decorations/books/materials etc) as well as library books (from preschool to highschool reading level) as I can possibly return to Namibia with or have mailed to me there. If any of this interests you-or if you have any supplies to donate please contact me!
