Up early for our Fraser Island trip, checked out rooms, our big rucksacks in storage and gathered out front for 7am with group. After our overnight journey on the Greyhound we were feeling pretty good we both managed to sleep and the journey seemed to to quite quickly. We stopped for half hour break around 8am so I grabbed us a bacon and egg sarnie and an orange juice to share which went down a treat! The day after our KI adventure we were up and out the YHA at 8am on our way to the airport to catch our flight to Alice Springs. We got an Adelaide airport flyer shuttle bus from the YHA to the airport very handy. Once at airport we checked in and went through departure and enjoyed a Hungry Jacks breakie before catching our 11am flight to Alice Springs only an hour and half flight. On Sunday 3rd February we were up and out of the YHA early for our Kangaroo Island trip! We were picked up from the hostel and taken to the Cape Jervis ferry terminal at 7am. The local taxi company took us and two Swiss ladies down to the terminal with the price included in the tour and once at the ferry terminal, we boarded the ferry leaving 9am. After our New Year adventures our last time in Victor Harbor flew over. Our work hours picked up considerably, both working 5-6 days a week and I was still helping out at penguin centre when I could.
