Our flight from Cairns was at 11.25am, we checked in nice and easy had a look around the shops got some snacks to munch on the plane. We arrived in Townsville around 11.30am only a four and half hour journey on the Greyhound, nice and easy. The bus terminal is right outside the ferry we went inside and got our tickets for the ferry ride over to Magnetic Island unfortunately we had an hour and half wait. Off the greyhound 7am and into the grey, rainy miserable weather we wandered into the small town of Airlie Beach to Beaches, our hostel.
