Amnice and clean again after a grubby few days and dusty bus journeys! had a wonderful  3 days in the colca canyon  (deepest canyon in the world?)  - bit plush staying in a beautiful cabina in the middle of the canyon, having a luch and swim stop at an oasis and then spending the 2nd night in a hotel!!

only me and an australian couple in my group, eva and james, who were great - making their way back to oz after living in london for 2 years.  the actual walking was quite tough yesterday  - had a climb of 1200m in about 2 1/2 hours and it was pretty hot.  but a beer, food and bed at 8.30 - hard core!!

also saw the much anticipated condor - they are  massive. really cool - arrived bcak today to find Rachel from my santa cruz trek is in the same hostel and also matt (also from trek ) is in arequipa so hopeflly have some catch up time.  have tomorrow here and head to cuzco on 12 hour bus journey on thursday!
