Longest driving day of the trip today. We stopped at this awesome gas station that is in the "UFO capitol of the world." It was great, because it was literally just a stretch of highway and this station. It was cool an all decorated. It had newspaper clippings at UFO sightings and stuff which was cool. Then we went to the maker for the tropic of Capricornit is a global median maker, also in the middle of no where. We are staying in Alice springs tonight. It appears to be the most developed town we've been in so far. We visited a wildlife park today, it had Kangaroos! We also went into a marsupial exhibit and saw all the cute ass rodents and lizards. I noticed that like all the mammals here are hopping long back legged animals. We watched a birds of prey show which was super cool. The birds were swooping and diving over head it was really neat.
So just checking into the hotel tonight getting ready because tomorrow we head into the bush and we stay in our bush camp swag. Camels are only a day away!!.. Write soon, love you guys.
Australia is pretty, and has kind of a wild beauty a out it, but I would never want to live here. I definitely appreciate where I come from even more now. I couldn't imagine having all the ground dry up and be almost unlivable. Its definitely wild here.
