hello people, sorry havn't been on here much! We have started our intrepid trip leaving bangkok- everyone in our group is really nice and we have done some amazing stuff already! Our first place was khao sok national park which we got to by an overnight train and songthaew- we stayed in individual little huts in the rainforest, vvv pretty and suprisingly noisy! (animals) We went tubing down a river on huge rings which was good fun, then the next day we had a ride on an elephant which was a little scary!! We had 2 nights in the rainforest then yesterday we moved down to Krabi which is absolutley stunning- we are staying again in little hut like things which are right on our own private beach!! (no hot water tho :s) It was a bit rainy yesterday so we just hung around a bit and caught up on sleep..today we went on a 5 island speed boat tour inc the island where they filmed the beach!! All the beaches were unlike anything iv ever seen before, beautiful. Did loads of snorkelling too, the water is so clear and the fish very stripey and friendly!! Sorry not having much luck with the photos- they seem to want to take 2 hours loading up but when we get to singapore they should have faster internet.
