Well, yesterday was our first Student Life team meeting. This involved the Dean and Assistant Dean of Students as well as the 9 Resident Director team. We met via conference call and almost everyone was able to be present. We all introduced ourselves and went over some of the structure of the administration. There's and Executive Dean, Academic Dean and a Dean of Students. I fall under the supervision of the Dean of Students.

We went through some questions, mainly logistical ones becasue we will all be coming together more as we draw closure to embarkation. The RDs were split into small groups to start brainstorming some planning, ideas for community etc and get our brains working on the transition from land campus to sea campus. Right now I'm working on a packing list and things I need to take care of or that are happening while I'm gone.
