Well, I'm back! I have returned to Porta Nigra (black gate) in Trier. We walked through Hauptmarkt and along all the little shops to the oldest remaining evidence of Roman rulership in Germany, Porta Nigra.
It is beautiful here! I feel like I am at home. All the German family laughs when I say that...and my parents worry! Lol.
We met up with my cousin Dennis and his girlfriend Susie, as well as my cousin Peter, his wife Doris and their youngest daughter Lena and with my cousin Natascha and her son Yanic.
We all went to a biergarten to have a drink and visit.
The whole lot of us took a little train tour through Trier, which was nice. You get to see a lot of sights, but it goes a little too quickly. Last time we were here, we visited each site for a longer time and got to take pictures at each one. We will do this again next week.
