We've spent 4 days in Dali now and absolutely love the place!!!! We're staying in a fab guesthouse just outside the walled city with mountains on one side and a huge lake on the other. We're at about 1,800 metres altitude so it is really cool, between 19 and 27 degrees depending on whether or not its raining - erm the rain is a bit more often than not here!!! The walled city is full of historic architecture and really picturesque buildings - lots of backpacker ...

Sorry not blogged for a while!!! You may have noticed that we've not taken any photos of our week in Ko Samui and this is due to the fact that other than drinking and sunbathing, we didnt really do anything in the week we spent there. Emma's brother will be meeting us there in a few weeks so we've save our sightseeing, kayaking, snorkelling etc til then.
