I'm lying in bed on a Thursday morning and the only thing that feels different is that I'm not at work. But apparently I'm off to Thailand today!?.. It still hasn't sunk in yet though I'm all packed and pretty much ready to catch my coach at 3pm.

I got back from my snowboarding holiday with Bournemouth Uni on Saturday and had a sweet BBQ with some new found chums as the week's send off. It was a sweet week as you can imagine though Val Thorens in December did top it for nightlife and the amount of students from other Uni's and the hotel itself.. But still an awesome week - definitely can't complain! Great conditions and nightlife was all good, just no VT! If I'm gonna be doing a season VT is still top of the list.

So anyway I'm off to Thailand today. Starting off in Swindon I'll be coaching it down to gatwick, jetting off to Bangkok then catching the transfer to Chaing Mai, all in all a likely hellish 21 hours. But I suppose at the end it could all be worth it? Guess I'll just have to wait and see!
