We flew into Auckland yesterday after a few slight dealys, we arrived quite late at night and its a faitly busy city, its a bit like London!

We woke up today and it was raining..again but also really warm, I was happy cause I got to wear my superrrrrrrcoool rainmac but Adam didnt have his so he wasnt so happy :) We decided to go to Auckland museum, it was only $10 donation fee which is like 5 pounds, so nothing really!
We learnt stuff about Maori culture which was cool, it also had a whole section about volcanoes, we went into this simulator thing and it was a setup house by the harbor and it was showing us what would happen if there was an earthquake in Auckland tommorow........ I really hope there isnt cause we wont be coming home in the form of humans, more in the form of dust!!

There was also alotttt of stuff in the museum about the war and the holocaust and being A-Level historians ;) it was suppper interesting and we really enjoyed it. There was also a spitfire plane so Adam was in heaven.

We left and it was stillllllllllllll raining! So we decided to get a hot chocoalte from Starbucks.. unfortunatley at the same time we wanted to drink our hot chocolate... a bird from the outside did too! I spent about 10 minutes running around crying from the bird flying about whilst everyone did sod all about it! They finally got the bird out and I sat down to drink my hot chocolate...someone else came in and the little b***** flew in AGAIN! So I spent another ten minutes running around..........worst starbucks experience to date.

Its fairly late here now and we are getting up early to catch our flight to OZ! Were both excited but also a bit sad to leave NZ cause we've had alot of fun here and both really love the country!

Tonight we wanted to go up to the 'Sky City' which is a big big big tower overlooking Auckland... they closed it due to 'high winds' which I thought was most ridiculous..... its a huuuuuuge big metal VERY sturdy building! You wouldnt see us closin g the London Eye for a bit of wind!!!!

So thats it..... NZ is over ! :(
I think at some point in our lives we both wanna come back!!
