Just a short update of the past few uneventful days.
The last day before I met my group I just hanged out with Bjorn-Inge and his friends. We just walked around in Bishkek and had icecream, which was very nice. Not much to see in Bishkek, a couple of statues and a museum (which I didn't enter). But it is nice to have been there.
On Sunday I met up with the group that I was going to spend the next five weeks with (strange thought) and startet to get to know them. We are 12 people + two guides and most of them are from England. Sometimes it feels like camp Britian or something. I'm actualy the only non-native English speaker in this group but they're nice people so I think this will be a good trip. Most of them are around my age so I don't have to feel too old or too young.
Last night we were bush camping near Lake Issykul. A very nice place except for the enormous amount of mosquitos. After a short swim this morning we drove on to Naryn and are going to stay here for the night. This will be the last night with shower and proper toilet for we will probably camp for the next three night, all depending how the boarder crossing goes.
As I said, a few fairly uneventful days. I'll get back with a more interesting update and some more pictures when I get to China.
