Hello again!
Our third stop in the USA was Anaheim - home of Disneyland, California Adventure Park and the Anaheim Ducks!
Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth!! Everything is so magical, very well decked out, and full of colour. Every ride/attraction was designed with a theme and the detail involved was amazing! We spent 9 hours visiting the park, and enjoyed everything from the rides, to visiting Mickey's house (we even got to hug Mickey!! :) The day ended with Disneyland's nightly firework display. It was spectacular and coordinated so well - it was beautiful and very moving. Hehe.
The next day we spent predominately at California Adventure Park. The rides there were much more scarier than Disneyland! Jason made us go on the biggest rollarcoaster in the park TWICE!! The biggest suprise of the day was riding what we thought was a tame ride chosen to relax - the ferris wheel. Except, this ferris wheel had a twist and our gondolas were swinging around on an oval track as the wheel turned!!
Knotts Berry Farm was the third (and final!) amusement park we were to visit. It's rides were much more thrilling (according to Jason), but Tsae almost had a heart attack before each ride (Jason: she nearly had total loss of bladder control before, during and after the ride). But being the tough person she is, she conquered all the rides after promising she'd go on all the rides he wanted to go on ;) By the end of the day, she was immune to fear!
To cap off a day full of Jason-chosen events, we went to watch a NHL game between the Anaheim Ducks and Buffalo Sabres, in which the Ducks won 4-1. It was the biggest display of legal violence in sport (the refs actually allowed the players to fight and slam each other!). We viewed 4 fights in total, so apparently that made it worth the money we paid. Hehe.
Better be off!
