went to see cologne cathedral. it was absolutely amazing!!!!!! check out the album of pictures I just added.

Cologne Cathderal was beautiful and huge!! Our tour guide told us that it took hundreds of years to finish. we were lucky enough to be able to go to the top of the cathedral and look down over the whole city. it was amazing. we went up in a glass elevator type of thing on the outside of the cathdral (very Willy Wonka!) so as we ascended we were able to watch the people below us shrink into the size of ants. :)  The Cathedral had beautiful stained glass windows all of which were original! the tour guide told us that for one small square of a single window to be completed it would have taken about 4 to 5 years. the cathedral also had many beautiful paintings as well as this golden case which is said to have the remains of the three wise men.
