Lodging for Madrid has been secured! We will be staying at another vacation rental - the Apartment La Latina Teatro. It is location near Plaza Mayor and very close to the La Latina Metro.

The place looks SO cute. We'll have 2 rooms again so we can find some corners for privacy. I have found the layout of most of the European vacation rentals to have the most amazing use of space. The kitchens are so compact - it is easy to see why fresh food from markets is the way to go - not only is it good for you, there's frankly not enough space to store much.

We will be flying into Madrid from Amsterdam so the location near public transport will be very helpful. This will be the last leg of our trip, so I imagine by this time we'll be kind of tired. It shouldn't be hard to be energized by this city though - I am way excited to say Hola to Madrid.
