We played hookie from class and visited the Scottish National Museum. It was wonderful. Clint was able to guess all of the machines in the historical part without looking at the tags. After we left the museum, we decided to jump on random buses and go to different parts of the city. At each stop we met different people and then would jump back on and go back into the city. It was great. We then walked down Rose Street (the street with the pubs and shopping). We found a great deli and got a bagette (a hot sandwich) and enjoyed lunch outside. We then walked down to Princess Street and figured out the correct bus to board to take us back to the Hotel. We finally started to understand the bus system the day before leaving. In the evening we all went out as a group to the Haymarket Pub. The students found this inexpensive pub that had wonderful food. The atmosphere was very victorian and everybody laughed and joked over the fun we were having. Heather from Stevenson College joined us for dinner.
