Well, of course we are still in NZ as most of you will know, we dont leave till Friday week. But I just had to add a blog for those poor souls who have nothing better to do than to check us out, and express our sympathy and thoughts for the poor old Cantabrians. What a b*****!!! Just as they had all cleaned up after the last lot, repairs were well under way and people were beginning to get back to some sort of normality, and wham, nature plays cruel tricks again.
We have had Diane and her baby with us for the last week and really enjoyed our 'overseas' visitors. They are due to leave Auckland tonight, but have just advised that they are 'delayed' for 3 hours. Something to do with the ash clouds no doubt. Life is very fraught at times!!
Hopefully the ash will have gone by the time we leave.
Next time, something more interesting I hope.
