Hi there. Well it's our last day in Peru. And we're spending it in Lima. An update of our trip? Ah yes Peruvian time.... As we mentioned, we were supposed to leave Yurimaguas at 4. Nope. We ended up waiting on the side of the highway until the road opened at 6:30. Keep in mind, it was 30C and blacktop has a tendency to absorb the heat. No pictures just yet. We just wanted to say that we are alive and well here in Lima. Twelve hours is a longer flight than it sounds! Anyway, we are to explore Lima for the rest of the day then tomorrow we are heading down the coast to Pisco... and beyond! hasta luega

Hi everyone, Here it is, our pre-trip send out. We leave Tuesday morning at 8am and arrive in Lima at 10:30pm. Needless to say we are very, VERY excited. We're off to a great start - our first night is at a nice place in the "bohemian" part of Lima. We have a private room, complete with JACUZZI!!! Oooh how exciting.
