After days and days of heavy rain we woke up this morning to blue sky. We grabbed the opportunity to take the Inspiration to Merry Beach for a couple of days. We booked into Merry Beach Caravan Resort and our site was drive through, level and only one row back from beach frontage. The resort was pet friendly despite the fact that it was so close to Murramarang national park. The rate was $30 per night for a 2 night minimum...... stay the third night free.
Matt brought Freya and Reef to visit. They loved playing at the beach, taking Axel for walks and having a COLD shower in Jimbo's caravan. Next time we'll remember to turn the HWS on 1/2hr before required.
Dinner was steak, pork sausage, BBQ vegies and mushrooms with a bottle of Balance SSB.
