We started off the 2nd day in Machu Picchu by getting up at 4.30 to watch the sunrise. After getting the bus ride to the top whilst the boys climbed, it turned out to be very cloudy. Still we spent the morning finding the Sun Gate. At which we spent an hour waiting for a clearing in the mist, finally when that happened we just about got a snap shot. The mist twirlling round the mountain was still a beautiful sight. Angharad and I had a competition too see if she knew more sign language than I knew french. Eventually I had to surrender knowing I had been beaten. We then all took the bus down and started packing our stuff to go back to Cusco.
