Hola all, Just thought we'd update you all on the happenings since last time. We went to the Maracana football stadium to see the final between Flamengo and Botafogo, which was pretty intense. Around 83,000 attendees, which was a site to see and hear - pictures to follow. We were chanting away cheering on both sides at one point. Hi!! We have successfully made it to Rio! We had a good flight, except Mike couldn't fall asleep, and there was plenty of food. But when we arrived our airport pick-up didn't pick-up! Good old Renato helped us and we made it to our hostel in a nice bright yellow taxi. We have done a fair bit of walking today in Rio and along the Copacabana beach.
