James and Ellie Discover life outside Suffolk
Right, this will be our last journal entry on the road. I will fill in the last when we get home but we will have no time to stop over the next 10 days in Italy.

Day 18 - Grimaud
Today we were up quite earlu to brave the traffic to St Tropez. Once there we wondered around the market and port, before heading to the port front for a coffee. Then we headed to the ancient citadel (with an odd collection of modern art titled 'Ladies of the Mediterranean') before returning home. In the afternoon we relaxed and played scrabble. We witnessed the rare occurrence of rain in the evening, but it was very short and warm. We had a wonderful meal, all homemade, with coleslaw, goats cheese and bean quiche, rattatouis, cous cous stuffed peppers etc. Its been a much needed day of r + r :).

Day 19 - Grimaud
Today we had a relaxed start with boiled eggs for brekkie mmmm. Then we headed out to the boat with Alan and his wife (+ their boat). We sailed arount the port of Grimaud and the port of St Tropez before heading out to Millionaires bay. We moored up and stayed there for a few hours drinking rose (for the non-alcamaholics thats half-way between red and white wine) with bread, cheese, meat and fruit. We swam in the sea (yes.. i actually swam in the sea... 3 times!) and we sunbathed. We are fairly lobsterish but me more-so. This evening we are heading out for a meal. I dont want to leave, we have had a thouroughly enjoyable time and it has been wonderful to discover a place with the help of locals, and at the same time see family. But its on to Italy tomorrow!
we may be able to update from munich but if not i hope you are all ok and having a nice time without us, and we will see you in no time at all!
