Today Felipe had a meeting at another shopping mall with a client of one of his parties so I tagged along so I could do some clothes shopping because most of what I owned was for the colder weather for the south. We arrived at the mall and the guy ended up being a little late so we grabbed some completos at the foodcourt. We parted ways afterwards and I went on a rampage through the mall, determined to find some good deals. I ended up buying some nice sandals for $10 which was a miracle because shoes are really expensive in Chile. I also got a cute dress and a pair of shorts.
We returned to his apartment afterwards and I took a nap while he went out for another business meeting. When he came back we packed our bags because we were heading for the weekend out to ConCon where his family's summer apartment was. Coming with us was his friend Cote whom I met in Coyhaique at her going away party. She had spent some vacation time in Brazil and then in Santiago where her family was before she was going to return to Coyhaique. We picked her up and drove to the beach town. We stopped at a grocery store to pick up groceries for the weekend. After unloading the car into the apartment Cote made some pasta for dinner while we waited for a few other friends to arrive including Hucke, who I had met in Vina the first weekend I met Felipe. He came with a friend of his and we hung out there for awhile before going to the casino to go dancing. It was a crazy big dance floor and we ran into some more people Felipe knew (he knows everyone! Lol) and it was a ton of fun. On our way out we stopped to collect Cote's coat from the coat check area but she had somehow misplaced her ticket and was unable to get it. While we were waiting for her to try to find her ticket we saw a guy stumble across the floor and crash pretty hard on the ground. He apparently had had tooooo much to drink. After the failed attempt to reclaim the coat we took a taxi back the apartment, tired from a fun night of dancing.
