We got up at six and had breakfast just down the street at a place recommended by the hotel.
At nine, our guide Teresa arrived at our hotel to give us a walking tour of the town and then take us to the castle. Her English was very good and she gave an excellent tour of the town. Once we got to the castle, she passed us off to the guides there. We started with what is one of the most fascinating things of any of our travel, at least to me. The castle has a Baroque theater that is only one of two that have survived. We got to see how sound affects were done...and Sherry and I got to demonstrate. We went below to see how the sets were changed, and also how people and things for the show could be put on the stage through trap doors. It finished with a movie that demonstrated some of these things.
The tour of the castle was okay, but the guide did not speak English very well.
After the castle we headed back down to town for lunch. We once again ate next to the water. It was very nice.
After lunch Jahn and I headed back Tom the room and Sherry and Bill did some exploring. Jahn and I went out later in the afternoon and tried to,tour the local monestary but didn't have enough Czeck money. Sherry and Bill had gone and said that it wasn't really worth it anyway.
Our dinner was down near the town center and we decided on a traditional Czeck restaurant for our last dinner in the Czeck Republic. It was excellent.
Hung out on Sherry and Bill's balcony until bed time.
