We had our breakfast served to us at 9am once again. We stayed in until after lunch so we wouldn't have to carry our lunch around! After we ate, we put our suncream on, sunglasses on, all ready to go. The first stop was to visit the Vatican City. We got a day pass for the tube. All ready and looking forward to it, only to find out when we arrived the heavens opened!! People ran inside from the streets absolutely soaked to their skins! So we decided to wait for a bit in hope it'll calm down. After waiting for while, we gave up and bought 2 cheap umbrellas and head out, which did NOT work!! The roads were covered with few inches of water, so our feet were soaked. The umbrella didn't cover our whole body so my legs got soaked, while for some reason Molly only got soaked on her bottom!!
Not being able to do anything, we headed back to our room to chill. The weather turned back to warm and sunny thankfully. But I started to feel ill!! It seems like that Italy doesn't like us!
Felt fit enough to head out, we started at Vatican City. We went into the church, which was pretty impressive! It was huge inside and the art work/craftsmanship was quite amazing!
We then went over to the Spanish steps. We took a long time looking for it only to find out it was right next to the station and it was the first thing we saw! We were confused as there were no flowers like normal! Molly was really disappointed!
Feeling starving, we ate out at a really nice restaurant. Feeling full, we walked over to what Molly was really looking forward to, the Fontana di Trevi. Thankfully this did not disappoint!

Abbie The Spanish Steps weren't near to the station so you have missed them! What a shame. You can always go back another time! It rained for 2 days when we were in Rome and our jeans were soaked too! Lol about Molly's bottom!!
