Fun afternoon as we visited a local Italian mama and she taught a small group of us how to make the local pasta pici con le briciole. It was a great opportunity to practice our Italian as the whole time only Italian was spoken. We then had dinner with her. Talk about carbohydrate loading! Pasta with breadcrumbs and garlic , a plum tart and more pasta with a tomato sauce. Oh, and of course vino rosso.
