After language school we decided to head off to explore the villages surrounding Lago Trasimino. The lake has a surface of 122km sq and is the 4th largest lake in Italy. It has 3 small islands with only 1 permanently inhabited with 18 residents. Our first stop was on the Eastern coast at a little restaurant on the lake shores. It was 3 O'Clock but the chef still cooked us our lunch. Afterwards we went walking along the pier and shore. San Feliciano has a fishing museum but Michael voted to give it a miss. The breeze around the lake was a welcome relief given the 33 degree temperature.
