I can hardly believe that we wil be in Venice on Tuesday. As for now, everyone is in packing mode. In the last blog entry, I mentioned some tips from The art of traveling. The very first tip was called TRAVEL LIGHTLY. There could be a whole book devoted to just this topic. I always struggle in this area. I almost never end up wearing even a quarter of the things I take on trips. What's the deal? Hopefully we will all keep our bags light, but leave lots of room in our hearts and minds to soak in the adventure.

Charlene Smith Thank you Katie, I have been in packing mode for two weeks and finely decided "there are shopping sites between here and Rome!" It's not as if we are going to a third world country. I'm excited about this blog. Thank you again and I look forward to our trip
Katie Morstead I hear ya Charlene! If we forget something, we can just buy it over there. I always wonder why I over pack? Is it out of fear? It's so silly! I am so excited about traveling with you and everyone else!!!! We are going to have so much fun!
