It was South Australia's version of Scarborough really, but without as many 2p machines. It was nice and pretty like every place I have visited in South Australia (apart from the industrial area I saw one Tuesday morning), and yes I have just insinuated that Scarborough is a nice and pretty coastal town. We walked over to Granite Island, which was a lot cheaper and a lot smaller than Kangaroo Island. Walking over to the Island, we encountered camels on the beach and a 'horse Tram', which is where a horse is attached to a carriage and then takes everyone back and forth across to the Island. Some may argue that the activity described above could be classed as animal cruelty.
We were only there for a few hours, so this is obviously only a short blog. I did get some very nice fish and chips, but just a word of caution, the fish and chips here are so much different to what we're used to back in the Uk. I've ended up talking about food in this blog, oh dear. On that note, we're coming to an abrupt end, and I'm off for my dinner.......bye.
