We are now in jellyfish/shark territory! But we have come back from our 3 days sailing in one piece! It was great - the boat was really old and big - which helped ride out the rough water due to the weather! We went snorkeling and saw loads of fish and coral - can't beleive how close the fish come to you! We were on shark/jellyfish watch most of the time but thankfully only saw a couple of them from the boat and not when we were in the water. Two of our fellow sailors were from Northampton - Cogenhoe and Earls Barton! What a small world - I knew the girl from Cogenhoe and the guy from Earls Barton went to school with Laura Hagger and is going out with Faye - strange! Joe had fun on the pirate rope swing off the side of the boat but has sore arms now after 47 attempts!
Weather is still rubbish - had to buy an umbrella :( We are hoping to move on soon - but with all the floods we aren't sure what it will be like. Will keep you updated! We have loads more photos to add and will try to get them on tomorrow - will keep us dry in the internet cafe at least! Going to get some dinner now.... Hope everything is well at home :)
Love Joe and Em
P.S. Sorry we didn't reply to any of the messages on the board - we didn't actually discover those until today - DOH! But thanks very much - keep writing and we promise to reply next time now we know it is there!
