9th = landed in Sydney. Checked into hostel got the old mullet chopped and had a look around the city. Went to see the harbour bridge and Opera house, although i was a little dissapointed. They were not as impressive as i was expecting.
10th = Caught the boat from the harbour next to the Opera house and headed to Manly beach. We just relaxed and got a little burnt..
11th = After a few alcoholic beverages the previous evening we were not feeling 100%. today we just went up the sky tower to get 360 degree views of the city and then slept allot.
12th = A little bit of exrcise today (the first time in a while) we walked from cuchi beach to Bondi beach.
13th = We caught the train into the blue mountains a few hours out of sydney. We saw the famous 3 sisters and were amazed by the views.
14th = left Sydney early and headed north to Port Stephens. Here we visited Salamander Bay and stayed in wooden huts on a campsite that had its own Kangaroo as well as some HUGE spiders, going toilet was interesting just dont look up......
15th = Still in Port Stephens we went Dolphin spotting and climbed Tomaree head for views of the bay.
16th - 17th = We headed north and went to surf school for 2 days after a few lessons we were standing and we were told the sharks are friendly i wasnt convinced...
18th - 26th = Byron Bay (the best place in Australia) We hired a car and drove up to the light house. We then hired some surf boards and went surfing. in the evening we jumped into the car and had a BBQ on the beach near the light house.
Oh and of course a bit of cheecky monkeys.
27th - 28th = Headed to Noosa. We visited Australia Zoo the home of Steve Irwine when he was alive.
Saw the crocodile feeding shopw some BIG snakes and a tiger show. All good stuff.
29th - 31st = We were put into groups of 11 given a big ass 4x4 and a map and of we went to Fraser island.
Its an island with beautiful lakes on it and allot of sand trackes you cant get around unless you have a 4x4.
You can drive at 80MPH along the beach, you have to see it to believe it a unique place.
1st - 6th = Again headed north this time into Airlie where we were supposed to do a 2 night 3 day sailing trip. The first 2 days we were there it rained non stop, on the 3rd we got on the boat where it rained 24 / 7 for the whole 3 days. I still went scuba diving and snorkelling though.
At this point i was due to head to Townsville and cairns but due to a Cyclone the buses were cancelled and obviously it was raining. So i flew from Arlie to Brisbane (south) back to the sun.
7th - 8th = i stayed in Brisbane (brizz vegas) and met up with some guys i met in SE asia. After 2 days in Brisbane i was bored so headed back to Byron Bay and just relaxed on the beach for 4 days
12th - 13th = overnight stay in Brisbane just to get flight...
