So I made it to Cape Town! And it really is a beautiful place, situated between the bay and Table Mountain. It's summer over here so enjoying the sun and warm weather and topping up the tan! We've now left the truck behind and are going it alone which is great. We found a cool hostel on Long Street ($10 a night - cant go wrong!) which is where everything happens in Cape Town. Good bars, cheap food and lots of other backpackers. We're staying here until Saturday ...

So....I know it's taken a while but I've finally managed to update this page. A lack of time and access to internet has made things a bit tricky - I guess Africa was never gonna be easy! Anyway, I am now in Swakopmund in Namibia. It's one of the strangest places I've ever been to. It's basically a German colonial town built where the Namibian desert meets the Atlantic. One the one side there are sand dunes and the other there are beaches - cool huh?! Yesterday...
