wow looked at your pics looks amazing yes im still jealous wish i could of come with you when you back?
Ian
Hi Paul,
sorry for taking a while to reply - haven't had much access to the internet until now. Vietnam is absolutely fantastic - I would definitely recommend it. The scenery is stunning, the people are great and there's plenty to see and do. Cambodia is another good country to visit. The North East is great because there aren't so many tourists and it has volcanic lakes, amazing waterfalls and some decent national parks. Phnom Penh is a cool city too - very lively and good nightlife. Went to see the Killing Fields too - that was very intense. They've kept a lot of human skulls which you can see and there's still pieces of bone scattered around. It was pretty horrible to be honest.
Anyway, sounds like Naomi is having an awesome time. Sounds like she's seeing some cool places and soaking up the sun - sting rays sounds great too - kinda jealous of that!
India wasn't so bad - its definitely hard going but there were definitely some amazing places. Just stay out of the cities!
Anyway, I'm now in Bangkok and heading to Ko Phi Phi tomorrow - people say its beautiful so I'll probably chill there for a week or so. I then go to Australia on the 17th.
Hope you're good and will see you soon.
Paul
Hi Ian, hope your well, I've just dropped your Mum, Dad & Nanny off at the airport, there off to Portugal for a week, nothing quite as exotic as you but I'm sure they'll have a good time.
Your Mum was telling me about Vietnam and how you loved it and I've just read your blog, it sounds amazing; it's a place I've always wanted to go to, I used to be addicted to reading books all about Vietnam years ago and I used to say I would go but never got round to it, maybe I will now that you've been and said it's so good.
Naomi's on the ships at the moment going all round the Caribbean, Mexico, Cayman Islands and other places I can't remember, but that area, you'll know being so well travelled, lol. She's crossing the Atlantic soon and then doing all over Europe, she's absolutly loving it, she went swimming with Sting Rays last week in the Cayman Islands, said it was very scary but she loved it? She must be mad!
Sorry to hear about India? Your Mum was telling me some stories and it doesn't sound or smell very nice!!
Anyway look after yourself, hope you enjoy Cambodia, another place I used to read about, and see you when you get back.
All the best Love Paul, Neil & Naomi X

Hi Dad,
actually managed to watch some of the City - Utd game in my hotel - stopped watching at 2.0 though! Good news about Spencer - not so good news about England.
The food here is really fantastic - its actually close to what we have in England. The only real difference is that in India it is mostly vegetarian. Also not had Delhi belly - I think I must have a stomach of steel! Even eaten street food and had no probs.
Ive only travelled around Rajasthan so far but it is very beautiful. It has a lot of old palaces which are really beautiful. I went to a place in Udaipur which has a palace on the lake. This palace was used ib the Bond move 'Octop**** . Ive also stayed in the desert and riden camels which was cool. And right now Im in a place called Pushkar which is a bit of a hippy haven! Lots of Hindu temples and ageing hippies everywhere I look - amazing!
Im going to see the Taj Mahal on Monday - hopefully get some good pics. Will then go to Goa to chill for a week!
Anyway, Im great and having an awesome time. Will get some pics of India on here soon - as well as Japan!
Hope you're good and the weather stays good!
Dad
Hi Ian,man u - 1 Man city 2,surprise result eh!Arsenal are now 5 points clear.saints are still undefeated.Spencer has signed on for another 2 years.England have been so bad in both internationals.Italy deserved to steal a win on their second half performance.Glad you are doing Ok.Hope you have not had Delhi belly. Is the food good overthere, what do they have?I bet some parts of India are beautiful.I envy you,its a place that has grabbed my imagination for a good while now.Everything is OK here,we have had 3 days of cloudless skies and the weather is mild, but frosts at night. The flowers are coming out and it feels like spring even though it is only February. No doubt the weather will bite us in the "bum" again soon. We are all OK,hope you are.Take care, Dad.
