Day 13

Discover Egypt

I wake up a catch the family just as they are leaving. We have a final coffee together and then we say our goodbyes again. I have some breakfast and then go and shower. It's a sad time as this is almost the end of my trip I pack my faithful rucksack again which no longer smells of shower gel. 9:30 and we board the mini bus for our last long journey back to Cairo. As there is only 3 of us on the return trip and we had paid for a bigger bus on the way here we have plenty of room to stretch out and sleep. We stop about 15 minutes from the beach camp for a photo op of a small cove on the red sea. We all go to sleep until we reach the Suez Canal for a rest stop. Before long we arrive back at the Pharaohs Hotel in Cairo. We head off to our rooms and I have yet another room iv not had before. I think that during our stay here I have stayed in almost all the rooms on the 4th floor. I meet scot and rachel for dinner and we say our goodbyes as they are off to Alexandra tomorrow and I'm flying home. We finish dinner and head off to bed.
