Day 3 19/07/2011 Woke at 06:30 having a good night sleep apart from waking up at one point due to the heat. It's a glorious morning and our plan for today is to visit the temples at Petra which are now one of the wonders of the world. Day 2 17/07/11 Well that was an interesting night. To begin with the traffic seems to be racing past the hotel until about 0:30. I get to sleep only to be woken at 04:00 with the call for prayer that comes from the mosque next door which lasts for about 10 minutes. The the same again at about 06:00. Up at 7:00 to beautiful blue skies and time to try the shower. It's an unusual idea the shower head doesn't tilt so the water goes directly into the wash basin. ...
