We've been quiet on here since the Full Moon Party, life has been quite relaxed and we're getting into everyday island life. After the Full Moon Part we had another 2 nights at Sunset Cove, the 1st was spent, as expected, recovering. The 2nd . . . . well . . . That afternoon we went out in a two man blue & pink kayak to discover life at sea. Whilst paddling around the bay we spotted a band of pirate's creating what seemed to be the setting for a party. Party being our favourite word, we paddled in for a closer look and discovered it was the Pirate's Bar Moon Set Party which, we were told when we returned to shore, happens 3 days after the Full Moon Party. As we were leaving for Koh tao early the next day we were gutted we were going to miss it by 24 hours so got some drinks and a DVD & settled in our front room for a quiet night. On the stroke of midnight we disturbed by fireworks outside in the bay. We ran out to see what was happening and, can you believe it, the Moon Set Party had started a day early! Still pretty much dressed in our PJ's, with no make up on us, we ran down the beach, lured by the sound of a throbbing baseline and phat beats! We walked the wooden plank round the side of the rocks, taking us straight into the party. The set up was amazing as you can see from the pictures so we wasted no time in ordering a SanSong bucket and got partying! A lonely, very drunk psycho Swede tried to befriend us but when we showed no interest he threatened us shouting (with his Swedish accent) "You're dead . . . you f'!@#$%^&*". Since then we've met a lot more Swedish people and they seem quite a nice bunch really, so we think he was just a bad Swede, come to think of it he did seem a bit of a vegetable!
