G'day from Brisbane!

Since our last blog we had our 3 day trip to Fraser Island which was fantastic. I did most of the driving in our 4x4 and it was great fun, particularly through the forests and mud tracks. Thankfully we didn't have any breakdowns or instances of getting stuck! We only saw 1 dingo on the island which was a tad disappointing as we were expecting an army of them! The camping was fun and we had a group of Irish gals with us who were a great crack! We went to a couple of lakes which were fantastic - real post card scenaries!

On our way to Brisbane, we had a day at the Australian zoo, home of Steve Irwin. It was good and we were able to just sit with the kangaroos and chill out! They sure do get a shift on when they get bouncing!

We leave here Sunday and plan is to do Surfers Paradise, Byron Bay, Nimbin, Sydney and then Melbourne for xmas and new year.

That's about it for now... feeling a tad hungover from last nights shenanigans, will post some pictures soon.
