Europe On The Go
What a day driving wise , all roads and the gps wants to take you through Paris on paid roads so to avoid all this it was a long slow drive with plenty of taking the wrong road , the scenery was stunning of the French countryside with the red poppies dancing in the breeze , on the more sober note most or countryside had seen the bloody battles of the first world war in fact we came across Oise ainse the American war cemetery where 6,000 young men lost their lives in 1918.
When we arrived in Epenay we had trouble finding our hotel we drove around the same route 4 times .
We have soon discovered by walking around the lovely historical town it's the home of Moët Chandon and many other famous champagnes we plan to take a tour on Saturday
